Orzone announces Mr. Stefan Hallin appointed as their new Chief executive officer (CEO). Mr Hallin has served as Chairman of Orzone since the company was founded in 2007 and says:

Orzone has many great talents who have worked for many years in medical training and simulation. The team have for the last couple of years developed a suite of tools and capabilities that will contribute to increasing the appreciation of medical training through its unique features. The company will in the next 90 days launch three product lines that is the result of close to ten Million USD in development activities. These tools will increase the level of realism in training and also broaden the scope to team training. In the area on e-learning we will also launch our products for training and assessment.

The company recently completed the first ever pan-European simultaneous online examination which is an example of Orzone’s capabilities. Orzone will continue with their mission to improve medical outcome this by developing creative solutions, based on web technology and advanced simulation technology.

Mr. Hallin is one of the founders of the medical simulation industry through the creation of Mentice AB following by founding Orzone AB. Prior to joining Orzone Mr. Hallin served as Chairman at Opticore AB 2006-2007 (currently part of Autodesk Inc, NASDAQ ticker ASK) and the world’s leading design simulation company; Mentice from 1999-2005. Mr. Hallin studied at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and completed his award winning master’s thesis focusing on creating mathematical models for the detection of brain patterns while learning. His career is based on work with safety, simulation and training related applications in several industries, including the automotive, military (2nd Lt, ret) and aerospace since 1987.
